Welcome to Red Tail Arts, the culmination of an artist’s life long dream and unparalleled creativity and skill.
Amber’s love of art began as a young child, inspired by her mother’s artistry. Inspiration blossomed into the discovery of her own natural abilities that grew with her over the coming years and were recognized by peers and mentors alike. At the young age of sixteen, she began to hone her skills as an artist when she enrolled in a technical school alongside her normal classes. Amber continued her education at the International Academy of Design and Technology studying Visual Communications.
The pursuit of artistic excellence allowed her the opportunity to learn from many skilled artisans from a variety of backgrounds, fields, and areas of specialty. Residing on the Outer Banks in NC, Amber continues to advance her craft and expand her artistic boundaries.
Painting life like images with amazing precision on real feathers, creating unique jewelry by hand, and adorning outerwear with one of a kind imagery, her broad scope of talents lends her work to a wide range of mediums.
Recently, her partner, Branden, has gotten more involved in his own work that focuses on the 3-D aspect of art. Enjoying working in miniature, Branden is able to create amazingly detailed sculptures working in a variety of mediums.
Amber’s work can been seen through the murals, exhibit signage, and gift shop at the Frisco Native American Museum. Working with Chameleon Clogs in Nags Head, North Carolina, she provides custom artwork for the magnificent, handmade, Swedish clogs. Other work can be found at Cloud Nine Gallery in Nags Head, North Carolina and Good Luck! A Kansas City Conjure in Kansas City, Missouri.
